We are the taboo of the jealous, yet you rest uncaring and
safe against me. My eyes trace your curves watching the rise and fall of your
chest as you lay, comfortable in my arms.
I plant soft kisses on your neck, tasting the sweetness of your skin. You brought me to the brink of madness with
your whispers and touch then collapsed exhausted, having given all of yourself
to me. The daylight rests on your pale
flesh reminding me of how I was trapped by your undeniable difference. I smile knowing there is nowhere else I’d
rather be.
