"Flight of Fancy"
(How far would you go for a fantasy?)
She was nervous as she stood there in line. The intercom startled her as it came on to announce yet another plane leaving or boarding. Slowly the line moved forward as the passengers handed the attendant their tickets. Moments from now there would be no turning back. She knew this and yet she was determined to see this through.
Kandy had been anxious and jumpy all morning. When she shooed the kids off to work and kissed her husband goodbye she thought for sure she was going get caught. Still she managed to get the door closed behind them all before nearly having a panic attack. She leaned with her back against the door debating the craziness of the whole idea and just about decided against going through with it. Yet here she was now, at the airport, ready to be adventurous.
The attendant took her ticket eyeing it and then her curiously. Kandy thought to herself, “She knows, she just knows”. “Have a nice flight mam” said the attendant with a smile as she handed the ticket back. Kandy walked quickly down the hall toward the plane without as much as a look back. Finding a seat was no problem for her. It seems everyone was willing to make room for the curvy, curly blonde haired beauty. About a half hour into the flight Kandy took out her laptop, paid for the in flight WiFi with a prepaid credit card and began to chat with her end goal.
Kandy: Are you on line?
Aiden: I am indeed. You do realize you are starting this conversation the wrong way right?
I will allow you this one mistake because of your nervousness but any more will require punishment.
Kandy: I am sorry master I forgot my place. Thank you for reminding me
Aiden: That’s what I am here for. So is your plane arriving on time?
Kandy: Yes Master it is.
Aiden: Good I will meet you outside the terminal in 45 minutes. Are you wearing the white lace stockings like I told you too?
Kandy: Yes Master I am.
Aiden: Great to hear! Kandy you won’t regret this. See you soon.
Kandy put away her laptop nervously looking around. When she was sure that she knew no one on board and that no one recognized her she settled into her chair staring out at the sunrise with a smile on her face.
