Somewhere between nowhere and Mexico we sat content on a
beach. The waves slowly kissed her skin
and ran away, like a laughing child, as I stared at her in awe. I thought to myself how the woman sitting
before me actually made the ocean look even more beautiful than it already
was. Her sea sprayed hair danced in the
wind as she looked off into the sunset and talked about the day gone by. After a while she paused when I did not
respond and turned with a smile, laughing a bit shyly upon discovering my silent
admiration.
